Fresh cut fries are delicious. Love the onion rings and cheeseburger. Outside tables are great for eating with my dog.

The Burger Carte is so cool. It’s like taking a step back into time. It’s a great stop on my way to Fayetteville when I’m passing through. So many options it would take a few times to really sample everything. I like the awning and eating outside. It’s like being in the 50’s again honestly. Everything was really quite delicious. I have no complaints about the food. I want more. They have a big dessert menu also. Because how would have burger and fries without a milkshake for the ride home afterwards?! Don’t miss this little local hotspot in Smithers in you’re in the area.

Wonderful, side of the road burger joint with fantastic burgers! We each had the mushroom Swiss burger with everything on it - tomato, lettuce, grilled onions and mayo. It really was the best burger I've had in a long time! I'd be surprised if the meat patties aren't homemade. We also had fried pickles and onion rings- more standard fare but good! I had a Butterfingers twister (shake) that was great also. We sat outside to eat- lots of cars and motorcycles driving by on this gorgeous Saturday so it isn't quiet or peaceful, but it fit the type of restaurant it is. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Not sure when we will be back in that area but definitely will stop for a burger when we are!

So, in all the years I have asked my husband to take me to Burger Carte, today was the day. Boy was he mad. #1 his burger was thin and dry mushroom swiss burger) and nearly burnt. #2 Flies everywhere! #3 Ordering station so small, everyone shoulder to shoulder, breathing on each other, #4 man next to him finally got his food , but had to wait 15 minutes to get his milkshakes, that had been sitting on the counter. #5 and I get that this is a small uneducated area but dang. I ordered online. I chose the option for him to pay in store. Good lawd you would have thought the world was ending. No one could figure out how to ring it up and take his money. 4 women standing around in there and no one knew what the heck they were doing! Will NEVERr go back!

On the way back home from Babcock State Park on Sunday, I remembered hearing about Burger Carte. My boyfriend and I decided to check it out. Using their easy online system, I placed our order through their site. Within what seemed like seconds, the restaurant called me to explain that they were out of garlic fries & we coordinated on a replacement. The website estimated wait time was around 30 minutes and our order was ready right at that limit. Burger Carte is located conveniently on Route 60, with a large parking lot and clear signage. While the inside of the restaurant isn't super large, there's enough room for multiple people to be inside waiting on orders. It was clean, cheery, and the menu was clearly posted. We picked up our order and took it to-go. Both of our burgers (the Mushroom Swiss & the A1 Burger) were delicious. Super juicy, great char on the outside, with the standard condiments. We also got a side of chili cheese fries & pickle fries that were awesome. The pickle fries were french-fry cut pickles, that were battered and fried. Smaller than standard pickle spears, they were a great take on fried pickles. The chili cheese fries had good flavor and plenty of sauce on top. I would 10/10 recommend that everyone stop at Burger Carte at least once. The staff was friendly and prompt, the online ordering process was easy, and the food was really awesome.

We heard about Burger Carte from a friend and decided to give them a try after a long day seeing the sights along Route 60. I wish we would have tried them sooner because the food was excellent. We each got burgers and they were perfectly cooked, juicy, well seasoned and with a great char for that extra flavor. The toppings were fresh and well prepared as well. We each got a side, one order of chili cheese fries and an order of pickle fries, and both were very good as well. We ordered online and got our order to go. It was ready within the specified time, and while one of the things we initially ordered was currently sold out (garlic fries), the restaurant called us almost immediately and we were able to pick a substitution. Overall I'm very happy with our experience and we will definitely be back for more.

Great place to stop for lunch on the way to the falls or all of state parks. You won’t find a better burger and the outdoor seating is very nostalgic. Great place to bring the family including my golden retriever. Love this spot.

The steakhouse burger was so good. Onion rings & fried mushrooms excellent. Forewarning" expect to wait - 30 minutes for order if you walk in during lunch or supper time. This is an order to go type restaurant. Inside There are 3 tables with seating capacity for 2 people at each table.. so I suppose you could eat in if you are by yourself or couple. * during warm weather shelter with two picnic tables & 3 tables seating for two. There's a reason why this establishment has been open since 1961 though.. good things come to those who wait! I'm frustrated with myself for bypassing this restaurant for years.
